A few weeks ago, someone scribbled paint over the fine graffiti on the lower quarter of this High Street Building,
You can see the original artwork that now lies beneath this new graffiti here.

High Street Construction
Work continues on the improvement of Swansea's High Street and the developers have installed a little window to let those interested view its progress:
They have also displayed what the buildings will look like when they are finished :o) I am really starting to love they way High Street's development is being managed :)

The Creative Cluster
After photographing the amazing 'Creative Cluster' building from the High Street a little while ago, I thought I would share a pic of what the building looks like from the rear today. It is, without doubt, one of my favourite building in the whole of Swansea.

Dylan Thomas Needs a Nosejob
Titled 'Portrait of the Artist as a Young Octupus', Peter Fowler's large 9 x 6 metre artwork fronts the old nightclub The Venue and was commissioned as part of the city's 2014 celebrations of the Dylan Thomas Centenary in 2014.
The artwork features the poet along with with an eclectic and rather curious mix of images the painter, and local children he worked with on the project, identified as being iconic to Swansea and to Dylan's writing.
Sadly, the piece, only 2 years old, is starting to appear a little worse for wear. Hopefully it can be fixed up as it would be sad to loose this public art from the city.
